A nightclub may not seem to fit into the sports world, but we couldn’t resist showcasing this excellent example of the product StorPrint, which typically occurs and was also developed for a sports hall.
Normally, large sound-absorbing prints are used for sponsors or advertising messages in various sports halls, but it works just as well to print a work of art. Prior to the opening of the nightclub Palladium in Halmstad, Acoustic Environment and the artist Lars Nordin were commissioned to create an artwork made of sound-absorbing material. The result was a 30-meter-long acoustic wall, which, together with other sound-absorbing surfaces in areas like the bar and ceiling, contributes to reducing the noise level for the rest of the building’s occupants.
